How do I create a new appointment?

This can be done in three ways: Doubleclick on a free spot in the agenda, click on "create new appointment" on the left side of the screen or click on "book" on the left side of the screen.

Via a double click on a free spot in the agenda
In the calendar you can see the start time of an appointment when you hover over a free spot. Double click on the spot of your choice. The details of date and time appear on the left side of the screen. U can adjust the duration by changing the start and end time. Then select the service and search for your customer. If it's a new customer, you can add the customer directly. Then choose an employee and when needed rooms and tools. 
Note: by booking in this way you have 100% freedom in creating appointments. The restrictions you configured with the service do NOT apply. You have to set the right duration, pre and post work ("advanced") and which resources are needed for the appointment. This is not set automatically!
 
Via a "create new appointment"
Click on the button "create new appointment" on the left side of the screen. Choose a date, start time and end time. Then select a service and search for a customer. If it's a new customer, you can add the customer directly. Then choose an employee and when needed rooms and tools.

Via the book button
Click on the "book" button. A new screen will open. On top of the screen you can choose a service. You will see a calendar with red unavailable) and green (available) blocks. Click on the green block of your choice. You will see a page where you can fill in the customer details or where you can select an existing customer. Confirm the appointment with "send".
Note: when you book an appointment via the book button, you are booking in the same way as a customer would. The restrictions you configured with the service now apply. If you did not activate the option to choose an employee, room or tool for this service, you will not be able to select it. If you need this kind of freedom please use one of the other options described above.
